Strategy Creation
Jeremy has spent the last 6 years working in strategy creation.
As a board director at Mind Australia, he has been on the strategy committee that has created the organisation's new 5 year strategy. The strategy implementation has been timed to start with the roll-out of NDIS across Australia from 2016. This represents a rare disruptive event as the community mental health sector moves from a funding based to consumer and customer lead model. Mind Australia is now well positioned to be a key contributor to the benefits this change will bring for those living with severe mental illness.
As Business Planning Manager at a peak international member organisation, Jeremy works across the whole business facilitating executives and leaders to create and implement strategies across the value-chain. Over the last two years he has developed, tested and refined a strategy framework that incorporates design thinking, iterative and group facilitation methods.
Strategy Implementation
Jeremy is a seasononed implementer with 17 years in consulting roles.
As a digital specialist, he implemented numerous digital strategies and projects for a range of companies - from Fosters Group websites to Country Road's first move into online shopping. As head of delivery of a boutique digital agency he learnt how you work 'with and within' a culture to deliver on a business strategy. At Deloitte Digital, he saw how the value of a digital agency could be scaled across an international business - the Melbourne practice was used as the model to roll-out across Deloitte globally and now copied by all of the Big 4.
As Business Planning Manager, Jeremy guides executives and managers to better implement specific strategies across their team(s) or the whole business. At times he also leads the delivery of high-priority initiatives, particularly when they span the business value-chain. Through these engagements, Jeremy has been able to build a stronger connection through to strategy implementation in his strategy framework.
